HELLO!!
Awe I always get so excited to write :) It sounds like everyone is doing so good and happy! Keep this up! I love it!
BAILEY'S BAPTISM is THIS WEEKEND! Gosh. I can't explain the joy I feel knowing I'm helping someone come unto Christ by accepting the restored gospel. What an amazing feeling, and I imagine that feeling will be quadrupled at the actual baptism. SAWEET!
So the first full week of the historic site being open, what a rush! It wasn't nearly as busy as Saturday was, but theres still a pretty consistant flow of people coming in. They are still trying to figure out the schedules, which can be frustrating... it makes planning and scheduling appointments a little difficult. But check this out, last night a spanish branch came through to watch the Joseph Smith movie and go through tours. They refilled the printer paper yesterday morning for the camera we have here (you can either get it printed out or emailed) and you can print 300 pictures, we were empty again that night! YEAH! There were a ton of people wanting their picture taken, it's definitely one of the more popular things we have here. We love it though, and they had a good write-up about it in the newspaper this last week. I'm actually sending that to you, mom, hopefully today or sometime this week! Enjoy :)
So the work presses on. It's interesting though, they say that visitor center sisters are the highest baptizing missionaries. But we have half the proselyting time than other missionaries and even that is half filled with study time that we're suppose to be alauded but can't because we're at the mobatt (which by the way, that's what we call it, haha weird I know. It's easier than saying the whole thing, ok!) But yeah, things are good! We are back on the temple grounds this week. It was closed for the 2 week cleaning ordeal and we are back workin the "visitor center" this Tuesday. Exciting stuff!
Alright well I guess that's it for now...
I love you all and I hope you're doing good like always. Remember our Savior and what he has done for us. He knows our weaknesses and he knows how to succor us in our times of needs, and he will if we but ask. I'm so grateful I have a loving Heavenly Father. I know that He lives, and I know that it's in those hard times when we don't want to pray, that he's beckoning us to go somewhere so "we" can "have a talk". He wants each and every one of us to return to Him. We can do that be keeping ourselves clean of the harmful addictions and temptations of the world. And we can recieve strength to do that by reading our scriptures morning and night, and talking with him through prayer and waiting and listening for an answer. He will answer. I know he answers prayers, and I know he lives and loves us. I know this church is true. I know that President Thomas S. Monson is a true prophet who speaks to God and recieves inspiration to help us in our journey home to our Heavenly Father.
I love you, and I pray that you're well. Have fun with one another. Love one another. And keep each other safe in the strait and narrow path. Have a great week, my love ones!
Love FOREVER AND EVER,
Sister Kimaree Miller
