Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

A couple weeks ago we took a trip with my parents to Los Cabo San Lucas. As you can see it was kind of a hit and miss trip. Some things Noah loved and other things he hated, although the nasty cold he developed our very first day certainly didn't help. For having a cold, he was still a trooper! For some reason he hated the beach. I think I'm going to blame it on the water being freezing! I think he has the cutest frown around.

Although he hated the beach he absolutely loved hanging around the pool and swimming. Grandma and Grandpa bought him a tiny wet suit which was adorable!

He was a champ at keeping his hat on and wearing his sunglasses.

This was our sad attempt to win the sandcastle tournament. Which we ended up winning!!!
(We were the only entry)

This was at one of my parents favorite restaurants, The Hangman, this guy was serenading the dinner crowd. Noah would hardly look away and seemed to be loving every minute of every song.

Apparently not only are the fish tacos pretty tasty in Mexico, but Noah could not get enough of the walls in our condo! It must of been a texture thing because it was definitely one of his favorite past time things to do.

It was a pretty great trip. I'm not going to lie, Noah being sick was a bit of a curve ball, his nasty cough and wheezing had me pretty worried, and having to make sure he was able to get his naps was interesting. But I wouldn't trade him and his runny rose for anything. The warm weather had me giddy and the views were relaxing.

Hopefully this video works, we'll see! While Dayne, Grandma and I were out whale watching, Grandpa took Noah walking around town. Apparently he thought he needed a maraca, as you can tell he had a blast!

I can hardly believe this cutie pie is 9 months old. He weighs 20 lbs and is 28.5 inches. He is pulling himself up on anything, climbing up stairs and crawling everywhere. He loves eating toast, bananas and the occasional shoe. He is a fun, good-natured, happy boy and we are so grateful we get to be his parents.

Visiting family in St. George, Utah

Last month Noah and I had the opportunity to go to St. George with Grandma to visit the Rosenbergers. It was so nice being able to enjoy warmer weather! I will take 42 degrees over 2 degrees any day. Grandma insisted on taking the boys on walks every morning and even though Noah was only able to see 50% of everything we walked past (oops) he still loved it!

I think Noah was in shock with all the new toys . I'm pretty certain he didn't get bored once.

It is always so fun to see Noah interact with his cousins. It was so sweet to hear Maddox say "Hi Noooooah" in the most adorable 2 year old voice. We adore the Rosenbergers!

After the traveling its good to be able to relax and take a breather, and there's no better place to do that than on Grandpa.

This month has been crazy, that's for sure. There are quite a few things up in the air and it has definitely been emotionally challenging for me. But I am grateful that I have an incredible family that loves, encourages and supports us. Plus, it definitely helps to have this cutie pie constantly giggling and wanting to play. I cannot believe Noah will be 9 months next week. He loves to stand up against pretty much anything he can get a grip on, he is starting to wave (it's adorable and I haven't had any luck with getting a video of it), he gets super excited whenever the hall closet door is open and will crawl as fast as he can to get inside (which I swear is getting faster every day), he is still chewing on e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g and is leaving lovely teeth marks on his crib. Good thing he is such a sweetheart!
